Fall event draws families to see fantastic amenities offered by Matawan's premier condominium community.

The Preserve, American Properties Realty's popular community in Matawan, N.J. recently held a "Fall Fest" to showcase their exceptional amenities, as well as invite people to "fall" for the Preserve at Matawan's model units. The event was held on Sunday, Nov. 8 from noon to 4 p.m. and featured family friendly fun, as both food and beverages were served, while attendees were able to enjoy personal horse drawn carriage rides. Guests were also encouraged to enter to win prizes, including a Ticketmaster gift card for the PNC Bank Arts Center concert series, a one-week Aberdeen/Matawan NJ Transit commuter pass to New York Penn Station, dinner for two at Zagat-rated Mahzu Japanese Restaurant in Matawan, N.J. and a shopping spree at the Freehold Raceway Mall.

"We really wanted to take advantage of the season and our fabulous condominiums to bring new people into The Preserve at Matawan and help them 'fall' in love with our community," said Paul Csik, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Iselin, N.J.-based American Properties Realty. "The Preserve is a beautiful and affordable community for homebuyers, and with the incentives being offered, particularly to first timers, there has never been a better time to buy."

First-time homebuyers purchasing at The Preserve will continue to receive the $8,000 tax credit through June 30, 2010, due to the recent extension. The amount of income someone can earn and qualify for the full amount of the credit has also been increased. Single tax filers who earn up to $125,000 a year and joint filers who earn up to $225,000 are eligible for the total credit amount.

Preserve's models include the Bramley model, which was recently reduced in pricing, is a 1,491square-foot two bedroom, two bathroom home and starts at $259,990. This model features an open floor plan, as well as an oversized living room. Their Arlington model, which is an end unit, is a 1,446 square-foot two bedroom, two bathroom home and starts at $269,990. Arlington models feature a formal dining room.

The Preserve is named after the lush 10-acre wooded preserve that the new community backs up to, complete with babbling brook. The Preserve is comprised of seven distinct three-story buildings and one two-story building with 157 residences featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms and up to 1,635 square feet of living space.

All of the condominium homes are equipped with desirable features such as laminate countertops in the kitchens and master bathrooms, Kitchen Craft 42-inch oak cabinetry, corner fireplaces, soaring 9-foot ceilings, Dal ceramic tile in the master bathrooms, security systems with intercoms and private balconies or terraces.

In addition to spacious layouts, quality finishes and amazing pricing, The Preserve also offers a great location close to shopping and dining, outstanding public schools and mass transit and major highways. Both New York City and the New Jersey shore are easily accessible, offering the best of both worlds.

The development is located less than two miles from the Aberdeen-Matawan Train Station. In addition, there is a NJ Transit bus stop a half a block away from the community. The Preserve is also just minutes from a number of major highways, including the Garden State Parkway and Routes 9, 34, 35 and 36.
